Registration: 

All fees are payable in advance. Your card will be charged for the balance due on your account on your day of arrival. It is not necessary to stop by the office when you arrive, you may proceed directly to your site. Please call us at 870-435-7275 if any assistance is needed.


Do you offer discounts?

Yes! We offer a 10% discount for Good Sam's Members, Former & Current members of the Military, Seniors, First Responders, Educators and numerous other RV affiliations. Contact the office staff to see if you qualify. Discounts are available on Daily Rates only and may not be used for Weekly or Monthly rates. 


Check-In/ Check-Out: 

Standard check in time for RVs is 1:00 pm, and 3:00 for the Cabin. Check out is 12:00 noon for RVs and 11:00 am for the Cabin. Earlier check in times, and later check outs may occasionally be arranged by the park office. 


Setting Up Your RV Site: 

  • Please ensure that your electrical connection is securely plugged in. Surge protectors may dislodge or cause issues with the plugs being firmly in place. 
  • Please ensure that your water and sewer hoses are properly connected. Check for leaks or drips after hooking up. Notify the office staff if there are any problems. During the colder months, heated water hoses are recommended. And it is also recommended that you freeze-protect the water spigot area. Filling your water tanks and then disconnecting your lines is another option. Please make sure the heated water housing for the pipes remains plugged in. 
  • Please use pads or boards under the jacks on motor homes and fifth wheels.
  • Please do not place rugs or ground coverings on the grassy area of your site. 
  • Please do not park or drive on the grass. 
  • Shade tents with bottoms are not permitted on the grass. 
  • If you require boat parking, or have extra vehicles, please contact the office staff for additional parking arrangements. 
  • Due to regulations of ADEQ (Arkansas Dept of Environmental Quality) for the White River, no washing of RV’s, vehicles, or boats are allowed at your site or anywhere on park grounds. This includes the services of an outside company. 
  • No clothes lines.
  • Sites must be kept clean and neat, free of debris and trash. All cigarette and cigar butts must be properly disposed of and not thrown on the ground. 
  • No abusive, belligerent, violent or threatening acts or language toward any other guest will be tolerated.

What do I do with my trash?

Please place tied plastic trash bags in the dumpster located at the south end of the park. Please do not place RV trash in the reception center hallway trash cans. Cardboard boxes must be broken down. Only RV trash is allowed in the dumpster – no appliances, furniture, or other large items. If you have large bulky items to be picked up, please contact the office for arrangements with the waste management services. A small fee may apply.

PARK ETIQUETTE & SAFETY

Park Etiquette: 

Please do not walk in between occupied sites. This is considered our guests' private yard. Some sites have larger yards, but this is not common areas for walking. The steps behind Site #8, and the deck behind Sites #12 & 13 are common areas for everyone to use. The sloped grassy area along the river bank is a common area. Also - Please keep your music at a comfortable level so as not to disturb your neighbors. 


Children: 

All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Unsupervised children are NOT allowed on the river banks, or at the ponds. The water levels fluctuate and can be very dangerous. Children may play in the common areas but may not play or ride their bikes in the reception area hallway or other guest’s sites. Disruptive activity will not be tolerated.


Quiet Hours: 

10:00 pm – 6:00 am


Speed Limit: 

All vehicles must adhere to the 10-mph speed limit throughout the park. Please remain on the roadways and do not cut through empty sites.


Fireworks and Firearms:

Fireworks and firearms are not permitted under any circumstance.

Ice, firewood & propane

Ice & Firewood: 

Our Premium sites all come with a private firepit. Other guests may choose to rent one or use their own. Rental is $5.00 per night or $25.00 per week. These self-serve items are available 24 hours by the “honor system”. There is a container on the ice machine to deposit your money. Ice is $3.00 per bag, or 2/$5.00. Firewood is $5.00 per bundle. You may also choose to have these items billed to your site, just let us know what you use or take.

Campfires are permitted only in the designated fire pits. All fires must be extinguished before going to bed.


Propane: 

We can fill your tank(s) between the hours of 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Please leave your tank at the propane filling station and be sure it is marked with your name and site #. You can pick it back up after 3:00. Current price is $3.50 per gal +tax. Total price will be billed to your card on file unless requested otherwise. (Emergency fills may also be available after 6 pm M-F and on weekends. Please call the office to arrange those.)

Pet Policy

All pets must be kept on a leash at all times. Your pets must remain under your control and not left unattended while outside. Pets must not be a disturbance to other guests. Please clean up after your pet, whether they are at your site or anywhere else on park property. Failure to clean up after your pet may result in a $100 fine and immediate discharge from the park.

Showers, Restrooms, Laundry Facilities

When can I use the Laundry, Restrooms and Showers?

Laundry, Restrooms and Showers are open 24/7 and are cleaned daily. Please help us keep them clean. Please notify the office if they require attention.

Please do NOT lock the restroom entry doors.


Are the showers and restroom facilities easily accessible from all RV sites?

Yes, our shower and restroom facilities are strategically located within the park, ensuring easy access from all RV sites. We have designed the layout to provide convenient proximity, allowing our guests to freshen up without hassle.


Does Denton Ferry RV Park offer laundry facilities?

Yes, we provide convenient on-site laundry facilities for our guests. Whether you need to freshen up your clothes after outdoor activities or simply want to pack light, our laundry services are readily available for your convenience. $1.50 per wash or dry, paid by credit card. Also, when doing laundry, please be sure to clean lint filters after drying clothes. Washers may not be used for washing of pet bedding and heavy items such as rugs. The Laundry Room in Gassville has washers capable of handling heavier loads.


Are there additional charges for using the showers?

The use of showers is included in your stay at Denton Ferry RV Park. There are no additional charges. We want to make your experience as comfortable and hassle-free as possible.

EMERGENCY INFORMATION

Winter /Severe Weather: 

Between October 1 and April 1 it is recommended that you utilize a heated water hose for your connections. Freeze ups or damage are not the responsibility of Denton Ferry RV Park. Each site does have heated housing for the water pipes – please be sure this remains plugged in at all times and the 20-amp breaker is left on. 


In the event of severe storm conditions, you can seek shelter at the Reception building restroom area. Local news can be heard at KTLO Radio 97.9 FM or 1240 AM, Mountain Home, AR.


After Hours Phone: 

The park office is open from 9am-3pm, Monday-Saturday. If assistance is needed after hours, please call 870-435-7275. In case of an emergency, and you do not receive an answer at that number, please contact Joe or Ariel Montgomery at 870-302-9870.


Medical Emergency:

What types of RV sites does Denton Ferry RV Park offer?

Denton Ferry RV Park provides a variety of RV sites to accommodate different preferences. We offer 44 well-designed sites, including easy, pull-through, and back-in options, ensuring a convenient setup for all types of RVs.


What are "Pull-Through" RV sites?

Pull-through RV sites are designed to allow RVs to enter from one end of the site and exit from the other end without the need for backing up. These sites are ideal for RVers who prefer a hassle-free parking experience and easy departure.


Can you explain what "Back-in" RV sites mean?

Back-in RV sites require RVers to back their vehicles into the designated space. While it might require a bit of skill, back-in sites often offer more privacy and provide the best river view. Our back-in sites are designed to be user-friendly, ensuring a comfortable parking experience.


Are the sites big enough for large RVs with slide-outs?

Yes! Our sites are all 16' x 65' sites with plenty of room for one or more slide-outs. We have 44 level sites, all with full service hook-ups. There are 17 back-in riverfront sites and 27 pull-through sites. Plus 12 of our sites throughout the park are classed as Premium Sites, and have extra large yards perfect for your summertime cookouts. Our sites are spacious enough to accommodate various lengths, making it suitable for both smaller camper vans and larger Class A motorhomes.


Do the sites have full hook-ups?

Yes, all our RV sites come with full hook-ups, including 50/30 amp electricity, water, and sewer connections. We aim to provide our guests with a seamless camping experience, ensuring all necessary utilities are readily available.

Can we fish in the wade-in area?

Absolutely! The wade-in area is perfect for fishing enthusiasts. You can cast your line and try your luck at catching some of the White River's renowned trout species. It's a great spot for both experienced anglers and those looking to learn the art of fishing.


Is the wade-in river access area open at specific times?

Our private wade-in river access area is accessible to guests throughout their stay at Denton Ferry RV Park. You can enjoy wading when the water levels are low. We do not advise people to go in when the levels are high.

Yes, fishing licenses are required to fish in the White River. You can purchase fishing licenses locally, and our staff can provide information on where to obtain one. Ensuring you have the proper licenses is essential to enjoy fishing legally and responsibly.
